American Friends of Stowe (AFS) is an active group of alumni, current and former parents of Stoics, supporters of world heritage projects, and friends and supporters of the School. American Friends of Stowe hosts alumni and networking events during the year and communicates with members through distribution of a twice-yearly newsletter, so that Friends of Stowe can maintain contact with one another and with Stowe School and House.
AFS also supports and raises funds to build a sustainable endowment for the continued administration of the Stowe Harvard Fellowship.
American Friends of Stowe is an incorporated non-profit organization with 501c3 status. Financial contributions are tax-deductible. In addition to traditional donations, gifts of appreciated shares, legacy grants, and bequests are also accepted and encouraged. Like American Friends of Stowe, Hong Kong Friends of Stowe (HKFoS) is a registered charity in Hong Kong that exists to strengthen the School’s bonds with its growing community of alumni and families in Hong Kong, with regular social gatherings, and to support the School’s charitable aims.
