The Golfing Society is very active as the Fixture List for 2019 demonstrates. We have matches, meetings and team events at fantastic courses including Sunningdale, Royal St Georges, Deal, Formby, Hunstanton, Brancaster, Aldeburgh, Woodhall Spa, Little Aston and Woking.
Although the team events such as the Halford Hewitt, Grafton Morrish and Cyril Gray require low handicap players, male and female golfers of all standards are very welcome at the meetings and matches.
We are keen to attract younger Old Stoic golfers. All those under 30 qualify for a 50% reduction in the cost of green fees at all meetings and matches.
For the weekend meetings, efforts will also be made to provide free or low cost accommodation.

We are delighted to announce that there will be a second Stowe racehorse running in the forthcoming national hunt season. Royal Sunday - a four year old and a winner over hurdles - has recently been purchased by the second Old Stoic Racing Club. He will once again be in training with Old Stoic trainer Alex Hales at his yard just sixteen miles from Stowe near Banbury.
Derby winning trainer, Roger Charlton (Chatham 68) and At The Races and longstanding horse racing presenter Robert Cooper (Cobham 68), have joined as owners and reflect the Stowe’s strong representation across the sport.

The designated charity will be chosen by the Racing Club.
