Leadership

At Stowe we believe that our people play a crucial role in the development of our pupils. Our Equestrian Centre is led by an experienced Manager who supports our riders to achieve their goals. With outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, our team works with the School, pupils, Parents and other stakeholders to ensure a first-class experience.

Communication

Communication with our riders, and their parents is at the centre of our approach. We work with our riders and their families to ensure the equestrian experience at Stowe is first class. Our priorities are a positive experience as well as excellent care of all horses.

Our Stable Management System, EC-Pro operates an efficient and transparent booking system which is aligned with Stowe’s brand identity. The package has a fully interactive App, for parents and pupils to book facilities and training sessions and monitor the care of your horses (exercise programmes, feeding and bedding). Ec-Pro supplies information to the School’s Finance Department to ensure that billing and invoices are kept up-to-date and accurate.

Training

  • Show-jumping, Dressage and Eventing is offered at Stowe.
  • The Head of the Equestrian Centre liaises with trainers to ensure the correct level of one-to-one coaching and instruction is available to our equestrians.
  • The Head of the Equestrian Centre identifies the most suitably qualified trainers and instructors and ensures that they have the recognised qualifications (health and safety/first aid training) and have undergone the relevant safeguarding checks.
  • Lessons are booked via the Ec-Pro App and liaison with the Head of the Equestrian Centre.
  • Group Lessons are offered for no more than four pupils.
