Earlier this year we welcomed Simon Schama to Stowe for his new series The Face of Britain. Simon spent some time exploring the House and National Trust Gardens. He was particularly interested in Viscount Cobham and how he used the temples within the Gardens to communicate messages about his political allegiances.
