The Community and Learning team is here to connect a wide range of people to Stowe House in new and imaginative ways – and that includes you! We are really excited to welcome more people (including those who might not have been to Stowe before) and we want to give an inspirational experience of heritage by sparking your imaginations.
In particular, we want you to take part in the life of Stowe House, which has a long tradition of creativity and innovation.
Our family events programme is designed to allow everyone to uncover more of Stowe’s stories in a hands-on and fun way.
Our community projects allow local groups to work with creative practitioners and contribute to the continuing creative tradition at Stowe. These projects form part of the decoration of our Welcome Centre and the visitor activities that we offer in the House.
Our learning programme includes visits to the House, creative projects and downloadable resources. All of our formal learning is based on a creative, hands-on and active approach.
Each of our aims is part of the wider Enlightenment for All project which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, World Monuments Fund (Britain) and a number of private donors.
