Everything that the Community and Learning team do is underpinned by a creative approach. This has its roots in Stowe’s history, starting from the 18th century when the Temple-Grenville family were inspired by past wisdom and beauty as a long line of famous names designed both the House and the Gardens as one of the greatest Estates. It continued in the rebirth of the Estate as a public school, with a reputation for progressive learning that produced an impressive line of leading creative names. And that spirit continues today with young talent and traditional skills achieving pioneering restoration work to renew the Estate’s heyday. Stowe has always been cutting-edge, inspiring others in all walks of life throughout the centuries and still inspires us today. We believe Stowe continues to live and breathe as a creative House. It offers community and learning groups the chance to be part of its ongoing story.
