It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tim Mullins on Saturday 16 July 2022.
Tim was an outstanding Chaplain and a much-loved member of the Stowe community. He will be missed by everyone, and our thoughts and prayers go to Lucy, Kate, Simon and Nick. There will be a private funeral for Tim's family which will be followed by a Thanksgiving Service to celebrate Tim's life. Details of the Thanksgiving Service will be announced in due course.
Tim's wife, Lucy has written to thank everyone for their kindness, support, love, and friendship, during Tim's illness. He was able to remain at home to the end and died in the knowledge that there will be no suffering or pain in heaven. One of Tim's favourite Bible passages was from the Gospel of St John, chapter 3 verse 16: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life." We are thankful that Tim is now enjoying this perfect eternal life.
