Stowe singers headed to London – Sunday 17 November 2024

22 April 2024

The Stowe Group Choral Society comprises of pupils, teachers, parents and community singers who are local to the Schools. In recent years, the Choir has performed Mozart’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah in the Stowe School chapel, and this year they are going further afield and making their London debut!

Performing for the first time in renowned music venue St John’s Smith Square and conducted by Jonathan Kingston, the programme will feature Karl Jenkins' "The Armed Man: A Mass For Peace", and works by Handel and Stanford:

Handel - Zadok The Priest
Handel - Let Thy Hand Be Strengthened
Stanford - Te Deum in B flat
Jenkins - The Armed Man; A Mass For Peace

This afternoon concert from 3-4.30pm will run without an interval.
