Remembering Ronnie Corbett

Simon Shneerson (Temple 72) kindly dug out this photograph of Ronnie Corbett who came to Stowe for a Pinapple Ball in the late 1980s, Simon ran the Tombola, which had over 2000 prizes!

Simon comments, "It is very sad news about Ronnie Corbett. We had the privilege of meeting him at a Pineapple Ball. A wonderful comedian who did a fantastic cabaret, and then signed a copy of Ronnie Barker's autobiography that we had as one of the tombola prizes - complete with a suitably cheeky comment!"
