OS Far South West Lunch

16 May 2022

On Saturday 14 May, we were delighted to gather Old Stoics living in the Far South West for lunch at Hotel Endsleigh, which sits nestled on the Devon/Cornwall border.

Hotel Endsleigh is set in 100 acres of fairy tale gardens, woodlands, follies and grottos created by Humphry Repton: we couldn’t have asked for a more stunning setting for this occasion and it certainly seemed like a 'home from home' for the Old Stoics in attendance. Our guests were welcomed to the garden terrace for drinks before sitting down for lunch on lawns.

We dined on a feast of Chicken Liver Parfait, Rump of Grass-fed Lamb and Lemon and Passion Fruit Tart before relaxing with Coffee admiring the beautiful view. Anna Semler (Nugent 05) gave a short update with news from the Society and the School during coffee.

We intend to return to Devon again next year and will issue invitations in due course.
