Harry Potter Book Night

Friday 2 February saw the Library transformed into Hogwarts for the evening for Harry Potter Book Night. The pupils were split into the Hogwarts Houses of Gryffindor, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. Sadly, we didn't have any Ravenclaw's, as they were attending an additional Potions Class! 

The atmosphere was very tense as pupils answered questions on the wizarding world, creatures from the Harry Potter books, as well as a who's who round. 

The Harry Potter knowledge was really put to the test when competitors were quizzed on statics and facts from the Potter world. Would you be able to answer when the first Harry Potter book was released or name Ron Weasley's brothers?  

The winners of the quiz were Slytherin, consisting of Joseph Albertella , James Bartle-Jones, Arthur Gee, Finlay Nasmyth and Samuel Watson (all Upper Sixth, Chandos), with Hufflepuff and Gryffindor not far behind. Congratulations to everyone who took part in a very lively evening.
