Life before Stowe

I worked at St Edmundsbury and St Davids Cathedrals as organ scholar/acting Assistant Director of Music for a few years and was studying the organ in Freiburg, Germany during 2022-2023..

What do you enjoy most about your subject?

As organist, I love supporting the rousing singing in Chapel and being able to play a wide range of music after the various services.

What do you enjoy most about Stowe?

I am lucky to have wonderful colleagues to work with and exploring the grounds is a great way to spend an evening.

What is your favourite Lesson?

One where I can share my passion for music and seeing that passion being reflected back at me by the pupils.

Other hats

I am also a Third Form Tutor for Grafton House, a classroom music teacher and will be running the chamber choir this year.

Passions

I love going to the opera and other classical concerts. I also love film trivia, quoting Star Wars, visiting art galleries and watching Doctor Who.
