Life before Stowe 

Before I came to Stowe I taught at History at Tudor Hall School for five years. I was also a housemistress there.

What do you enjoy most about your subject? 

What I love about History is that there is so much to learn – you could never know it all and there’s always something new to find out about. 

What do you enjoy most about Stowe? 

How welcoming everyone was when I started here, as coming to a new school can be very overwhelming but the School is so friendly and everyone's happy to help.

What is your favourite lesson? 

One where I learn something, either a fact that I didn’t know or having a new way of looking at a topic or question pointed out to me.

What do others say about you? 

That I spend far too much time listening to Radio 4, that I’m always on the lookout for good quiz knowledge and hopefully that I’m genuinely interested in what my pupils have to say.
