Life before Stowe 

Before Stowe I taught for nine years at Aylesbury Grammar School, teaching Geography and coaching the 1st Hockey team. I then worked at Beachborough Prep School as both Head of Geography and Head of Year Eight and coached the U13A hockey team. 

What do you enjoy most about your subject? 

The variety of topics to study and how they are all interconnected. It is also so relevant to the real world and current affairs. 

What do you enjoy most about Stowe? 

The vibrancy of the School- there is always something going on. It is wonderful that there are such a wide variety of activities for the pupils to get involved with. Added to that, the beautiful surroundings. 

What is your favourite Lesson? 

I enjoy teaching the Upper Sixth Power and Borders & Migration topics, as they are so relevant in the world we live in today. 

What do others say about you? 

I am a team player and am reliable. 

Other hats 

I help coach the 1st XI hockey team at Stowe. A lot of the pupils will know me as the teacher with the very cute puppy and the huge dog….my dogs Lando and Enzo. 

Passions 

I love my dogs Enzo and Lando and I also enjoy sports. I have a passion for Hockey but I also enjoy running and more recently Cycling.
