Life before Stowe

My first teaching job was at a Comprehensive School in Somerset, very different to Stowe! Before that I worked in Germany as an English Teacher and Translator.

What do you enjoy most about your subject?

The logic of the language and the way it works.

What do you enjoy most about Stowe?

The variety that working here offers - it is not just about your subject, it is about working with pupils and colleagues in a whole range of settings.

What is your favourite Lesson?

The loud, but productive ones!

In my role as Co-curricular Co-ordinator I am responsible for ensuring all Stoics have access to a well-rounded and engaging programme beyond the classroom. As a Mountain Leader and Paddlesport Leader I support a range of activities including DofE training and expeditions, climbing, kayaking, sailing and skiing.
