Hours of work: Full time 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

Salary: £33,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Job Overview 

The Group Finance department based at Stowe School, is looking for a new member to join their team.  You’ll mainly be working independently, but within a finance team which supports each other to ensure financial requirements of the Stowe Group entities are met within the necessary timeframes. 

You’ll need to be highly analytical, with strong planning skills and exceptional attention to detail. 

The main duties are to provide accounting support to the School’s Financial Controller and budget holders in gathering and analysing financial information for presentation in the termly management accounts.  You will also work closely with a team of Accounts Assistants (transactional team) to perform their tasks and run weekly payments.   

Preparing Statutory reports within the deadlines specified. 

Basic Microsoft Office Window essential, especially Excel, which is a must.
