Restoration of the House

Since restoration work began in 2000, the Stowe House Preservation Trust has spent over £26 million on transforming this house. This has only been made possible by the generous support given by donors, grant-giving trusts, visitors and volunteers. 

With the completion of the State Dining Room in the summer of 2023, the charity has completed its first envisaged phase of major works which has included the North and South facades and the State Room interiors. 

We are now turning to concentrate on various smaller projects in much need of care. We'll be sharing our next appeal and plans soon. We welcome donations to help us build towards this next chapter and appreciate anything you can give. Your support makes a huge difference and means a lot to us.
