About the Winchester House Association

The Winchester House Association was established to keep former pupils, their families, staff and members of the wider School community in touch with one another once they had flown the Winchester House nest.

With over 3,600 members, the Association is an active, supportive and enthusiastic community that keeps in touch via a calendar of events including an annual Carol Service, the Under 30s Club, drinks receptions, sporting fixtures, year group gatherings, industry dinners, House magazine, a classic car show, Act of Remembrance Service, Christmas Market, the Non Nobis Solum Society and regular tweets and posts on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Housians continue to be a source of inspiration for current pupils and frequently return to school to enthuse about their chosen career paths, challenges and life experiences as part of our Ignite speaker programme.

Talks by Lt Comm Colin Harris (1940-1945) who spoke about school life during the war, Cpt Nics Wetherill (1994-1999) who lead the first all-female expedition across the Antarctic and Presenter, Film maker and Natural World Specialist Lawrence D'Silva (2002), parent Simon Martin who at the time was Chief Commercial and Data Officer at mumsnet (and a part-time magician) and Clarissa Ward who is CNN's Chief International Correspondent and the aunt of two of our pupils, continue to be a huge source of inspiration for the School community.

We continue to look for speakers who are willing to share their time and experiences with the School community.

The annual publication of House magazine is a fantastic opportunity for Housians to keep one another abreast of their lives.

Please keep us informed of births, engagements, marriages, deaths, further education choices, career moves, gatherings, achievements and life in general.

Similarly, we are always looking for contributions to House magazine whether it be copy for 'Beyond the School Gates' or  a stand alone article or contribution to the magazine's forthcoming theme (which is Science & Technology in Spring 2022).

Please go to our Keep In Touch page to update us with your news and details.
