About the event

Stowe: A Year in the Landscape

A year in the landscape is a new exhibition of paintings by contemporary landscape artist Zoë Day.

The exhibition is culmination of works created over the past year during lockdown in which Zoë immersed herself in the landscape painting almost every day within the grounds of Stowe Landscape Gardens and the surrounding area.

As an en plein air artist she creates her landscapes directly from life using thick luscious oil paint to capture the scenes in all weathers.

Zoë has lived in Buckingham all her life and is the co-founder of Buckingham Art School.
