Take this unique opportunity to go on one of our popular evening roof top tours! 

Enjoy the chance to climb the noble cantilevered stone staircase to admire the magnificent view from the roof and look over the world-famous Gardens; this truly is ‘the finest view in England’. These tours are unique and extremely popular so early booking is essential.

Roof access is subject to weather conditions.

Please note that your ticket does not include admission to the National Trust Gardens. Find out more about garden admission prices here.

Please arrive at the Stowe House private entrance (MK18 5EH signposted Stowe School) where you can park close to the House.

Roof-top tours are weather dependent. Please note that the roof is accessed via four flights of steep stairs. We do not allow children under 12 on to the roof. We suggest you do not come on the roof-top tour if you have any knee or back issues that may be effected by walking up the stairs on to the roof or if you are heavily pregnant, this is due to the last set of stairs being very steep. Please wear practical shoes – no high-heeled shoes.
