Cobham Reunion

Sunday 7 October, 10:30am

About the event

All Old Cobhamites are warmly invited to attend a Reunion taking place on Sunday 7 October 2018. The day will provide an opportunity to retrace your steps around your old Boarding House and explore the brand new Cobham buildings, alongside friends from your own time at Stowe.
Old Stoics who have been able to come to Stowe in recent months may have seen ‘new’ Cobham rising from the ground in Chapel Court. This superb new building will be populated by Cobham boys during the Michaelmas term, as they move out of the original Cobham.
The move will not only allow us to provide the best possible accommodation for Cobhamites in the future – but it will also enable the creation of two superb new Day Houses within the old Cobham buildings, to be named after two of our most distinguished humanitarians and Old Stoics, Leonard Cheshire (Chatham 36) and Nicholas Winton (Grenville 27).
The day will begin with tea and coffee in the Marble Hall, followed by a final chance to see the old Cobham in its current form. Lunch will be served in the State Rooms, followed by the opportunity to be within the first group to see and explore the facilities and accommodation of the new Cobham. During the afternoon, you are also encouraged to visit the Landscape Gardens or tour the Mansion.
If you would like to attend, please email giving the names of any guests and any dietary or access requirments in your email.
