Getting to Trinity College

Trinity is in the centre of Cambridge, near King's and next to St John's.  If you are driving, we recommend you avoid the one way system and make your parking decision prior to your arrival.  Unless you have a blue badge or have made arrangements with us, there is no parking on Trinity Street.

Maps of Cambridge, College Buildings, and directions by other modes of travel are available from the main Trinity College website: https://www.trin.cam.ac.uk/about/public-opening-hours/finding-trinity/

Parking

We recommend you use one of the following parking options:

1) CB3 0EX - Madingley Road Park and Ride, Cambridge
Park at the Park and Ride at Junction 13 of the M11.  Once on the bus, get off on the corner of Magdalene Street and Trinity Street by the tall square tower of St John's Chapel, and turn right, as Trinity is right next door:

2) CB5 8AS - Park Street, Cambridge
Park for the day at Park Street Car Park by the Maypole Pub, across from St. John's:

3) Park on "the Backs"
If it's a nice day and you like walking, use metered street parking on "the Backs" near the river behind the colleges, on Queens Road (A1134) or Grange Road, and walk through College and over the river.  At the iron gates you will be stopped, but tell the bowler-hatted Porters that you are here for the Stowe event in Chapel, care of Paul Nicholson, and they should let you through.  If, for any reason they do not, ask them to radio through and check with the list at the Main Porters Lodge.

Blue Badge/Assisted Parking

Those who have requested blue badge or assisted parking in advance should drive to Trinity Great Gate on Trinity Street and ask for assistance at the Porters Lodge.

Finding the Old Kitchen at Trinity

Please use this map of Trinity College to find your way to Trinity College. http://map.cam.ac.uk/#Y3BV-FHU7-A8KX

Once you are at the Trinity Great Gate Porters Lodge on Trinity Street (the destination for taxis from the station), you can be directed to the Old Kitchen for registration.  Lunch is in the Great Hall at 12.30pm, and the concert at 4.00pm is in Chapel.  We will give you these details again, along with a paper map at registration.
