History Masterclasses are intimate, interactive opportunities to learn about history in an exquisite, historically-significant location. History Masterclasses are intimate with no more than 50 people giving lots of opportunity for interaction and takes place in our splendid State Music Room.
Join us for supper as Professor Frank McDonough one of the world's leading authorities on the Third Reich whose work has most recently focused on the Gestapo, Hitler's secret police. The masterclass will cover a general introduction on the myths and reality of the Gestapo followed by an analysis of several Gestapo investigation cases, each carefully chosen for what it revealed about the Gestapo's workings, membership, politics, strategy and effectiveness.
