“Feet, what do I need you for when I have wings to fly?” The life and portraits of Frida Kahlo. Join us as Stephen Nelson a well-known speaker and curator in the field of contemporary art gives an insightful and engaging talk on Frida Kahlo. Born in Liverpool, he has a Masters in Fine Art from Birmingham Polytechnic (1985). Recent solo exhibitions include: Skin Falls Apart at FPAC, Palermo; Project 1 at the Contemporary Arts Society, London; and it’s a soft hard world, at Space Station 65, London. Since 2015 he has run a self-funded, not-for-profit gallery space, MACC, in southern Italy.
