Lunchtime Recital of Piano Music

Monday 27 March, 1pm

About the event

Location: St Lawrence, Jewry, London
Free Admission

Ensemble music-making at Stowe is of the highest calibre with musicians taking on exciting and challenging repertoire. A series of concerts promoted in local communities will give you an opportunity to hear a diverse range of groups performing live for all to enjoy.

Some of our finest pianists will be performing at the St Lawrence Church in the City of London on Gresham Street, next to the Guildhall. It was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666, and rebuilt to the designs of Sir Christopher Wren. Amidst this beautiful Church, Jeffrey Au and Theodore Hayes will be giving a piano recital that features works from Chopin, Gershwin and Scarlatti.

Running time: 1 hour
