Job Overview  

Stowe seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Science

The successful candidate will be a dynamic classroom practitioner with an energetic and forward-thinking approach to teaching up to and including GCSE, A Level and potentially Further Maths.

A willingness to contribute fully to the Department while also adding to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of a busy boarding school is essential.

  • A good Honours degree (or equivalent) in the relevant subject(s) 
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education 
  • Or any relevant teaching qualification 

Specialist Skills & Experience

  • A commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
  • Teaching GCSE and A-level Maths or equivalent

 

  • Experience of classroom teaching 
  • Teaching A-level Further Maths 

Personal Skills

  •  A willingness to participate fully in the pastoral care, School duties and extra-curricular activities. 
  • Be involved with the Mathematical Society and offering/organising innovative, exciting mathematical events.
