Job Overview  

Stowe seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Biology.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic classroom practitioner with an energetic and forward-thinking approach to teaching up to GCSE with the option of A-Level teaching.

A willingness to contribute fully to the Department while also adding to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of a busy boarding school is essential.

  • An Honours degree (or equivalent) in the relevant subject(s)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

  • Excellent subject knowledge

  • An appreciation of the value of ICT in fostering learning
  • A commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
  • Experience of classroom teaching.
  • Experience in teaching up to and including A-level Biology.
