Job Overview:
Stowe School is looking for a dynamic Houseparent(s) to play a key role in our pastoral team.
Queen’s House was opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2007 as a purpose-built boarding house for girls, age 13 to 18, and is currently one of the most popular choices for prospective pupils and their parents.
The Houseparent(s) will act as a visible role model for our pupils, providing a sense of community, inclusion and safety while ensuring high standards of behaviour, academic focus and full co-curricular engagement.
You will be a warm and energetic character with excellent communication and organisational skills. You should possess the motivation and stamina to deliver unwavering support to your House pupils throughout their time at Stowe.
The successful candidate(s) will be a member of the Teaching Staff and be expected to contribute to the Teaching timetable. A particular subject specialism is not specified for this role.
The Houseparent(s) will live in private family-sized accommodation attached to the Boarding House.
