Salary: Circa £25,000 per annum, dependent on Experience

Job Overview 

We are looking for a friendly, positive, and professional to deliver a first-class grounds maintenance service in our beautiful grounds at Swanbourne House School. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the schools’ grounds, sports facilities and gardens.   

Working under the direction of the Grounds Supervisor you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining all gardens, including Mowing – strimming - blowing walkways and driveways - hedge trimming - car park maintenance - litter picking, and assisting in the maintenance of wildlife habitats, ponds, woodland, and play areas the sports facilities, including astroturf, pitches, golf course, in keeping with the status of the school. You will be aware of health and safety, ensuring machinery is operated, maintained and stored safely at all times. 

We welcome imaginative and functional ideas for the enhancement of the Grounds and Gardens.  

The role is 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday Starting at 07:00. 

Due to the needs of the school, we require a flexible approach to hours of work, including some work at weekends e.g. Sports day and speech day.
