The Roxburgh Society once again convened at Stowe on Saturday 14th November for an Open Day to promote Legacy Giving.
We were delighted to welcome both current members of the Society, alongside those who are considering making a legacy pledge, and thus becoming members.
During the course of the day, guests enjoyed performances from Stowe's talented music scholars and drama students; they were shown the new Visitor Centre and given a guided tour of the most recent completed restoration work. A delicious lunch was followed by the opportunity to watch the 1st XV in action against Uppingham (who emerged victorious!).
For those considering making a legacy pledge, the day was a chance to see all that Stowe has accomplished in recent years, along with all that there is left to do.
The support of the members of the Roxburgh Society is greatly appreciated and crucial to the ongoing mission of Stowe's twin charities: The Stowe School Foundation and Stowe House Preservation Trust. More details about Legacy Giving, Making a Bequest and the Roxburgh Society are available online.
