​Old Stoics on Dragons' Den!

Tune in to Dragons' Den on BBC2 this Sunday (21 February) to see Harry (Bruce 04) and Charlie Thuillier (Bruce 06) pitch their company, Oppo, to the Dragons!

They’ve been doing fantastically well with their business. Last year, they won the Guardian’s Start Up of the Year for their healthy ice cream. A year after its launch, Oppo is now stocked in Waitrose, Ocado, Wholefoods Market, Holland and Barrett, Budgens and Co-op. 

There is a feature article on their success in the forthcoming edition of The Corinthian, which will be posted to all Old Stoics and Parents early next month.

Charlie said, “Getting Oppo in front of 4 million viewers was too good an opportunity to miss. So the third time we were invited to apply by the BBC, we took a deep breath and said yes. We had no need for funding since we had just raised £300,000 from a community of 197 investors. And now we have just completed our latest round of £350,000 from over 550 supporters - thank you if you invested in Oppo!”
