The Serengeti Needs You

18 June 2020

Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE (Lyttleton 89) is an award-winning professional wildlife photographer, living and working in Arusha, Tanzania. Due to the global pandemic, tourism in Tanzania has collapsed, as it has around the world. The main problem with this situation here is that many thousands of people have lost their jobs from one of the world’s poorest countries as well as the increased issues facing wildlife conservation now as the wildlife areas are empty and the coffers from tourism are also dry.

As a result Paul and a pair of superb wildlife guides and a film maker have gone to the Serengeti and created a short series of fun, light hearted YouTube videos illustrating the extraordinary diversity of the flora and fauna of the Serengeti National Park as well as giving the viewer some excellent photo tips!

Do follow their daily, short fun videos starting today, to support them and to help conserve the pristine wilderness of the Serengeti National Park.
