The G20 in Kenya

The Headmaster joined with other members of the G20 Schools at Brookhouse School in Nairobi last week and met with Her Excellency, Margaret Kenyatta, First Lady of Kenya (seated front row centre).

Issues discussed at this year's G20 Conference included private-state school partnerships, gender equality in schools and universities, encouraging political activism, teaching ethics in an age of moral relativism, raising environmental awareness and social responsibility. There were field trips to the improvised settlement of Kibera and Nakuru nature reserve which illustrated many of the themes raised in the lectures and presentations.
