Riding School Reunion

Mary and Theodore Connor will be remembered by many Old Stoics as the pair who ran the Riding Stables at the Corinthian Arch. They are brother and sister and have lived at The Kennels Riding School all their lives. The yard was run by their father from 1925, when it was a private stables for Stowe. Theo and Mary took over running the yard in 1964, teaching many Stoics to ride over the years, as well as local people from the surrounding area.

Rhiannon Witney, who learned to ride at The Kennels at the age of three, is organising a reunion of all those who have been taught by Mary and Theo, at The Kennels at 3pm on Sunday, 15 May. All Old Stoics who remember Mary and Theo fondly are very welcome to attend.
