RESULTS:
Match v Canford at Sunningdale, Sunday 29 April
Lost 3.5 to 1.5 on a freezing afternoon but a useful Cyril Gray warm up. Many thanks to Match Manager, Stewart McNair

Spring Meeting at Woking, Saturday 5 May
19 golfers including three under 30s met up at a Wisteria clad Woking for a great days golf in perfect conditions.

In the morning's singles Hugo Douglass won the new Nigel Stern Scratch Salver with a 79 just ahead of Chris Luddington while Peter Simmons won the Stableford Bowl on count back from Nigel Wright (both 35 points). Josh Wheeler won the David Foster Under 30s Salver and the nearest the pin while William Hill had the longest drive. Following the usual excellent Woking lunch William Hill and Nigel Wright returned a very good 36 points in the foursomes competition with Angus Campbell and Charlie Consett second with 33 points.

Many thanks to Meeting Manager, Nick Luddington, and to Angus Campbell for organising the superb dinner at Boodles the night before the meeting.

Grafton Morrish Qualifying at North Hants 13 May, 12.30pm
Stowe missed out on qualifying for the finals at North Hants where Millfield scored 97 points in the three pair scratch foursomes format. 80 would have been needed to qualify this year showing the increasingly high standard of Old Boys golf nowadays.

Match v Templars at Deal 19 May
Match Manager, David Ewbank, suffered from many drop outs so an informal singles format was played.

Match v The School at Stowe on Speech Day, 26 May
A team of 10, including a lady golfer, managed an excellent 3-2 win over the School. Wins for Hannah Durden & Paul McSweeney, John Rowe & Adam Carling and Chris Atkinson & Julian Stocks sealed the win with Director of Golf, Andrew Hancox, suggesting the OSGS do not get so many shots next year.

FIXTURES:
