OS Liv Thomas (Nugent 18) Selected for England

We are delighted to share the exciting news that OS Liv Thomas (Nugent 18) has been selected to represent England Women’s Lacrosse on their upcoming tour of the United States.

Liv, who left Stowe in 2018, has continued succeed in the sport she first picked up during her school years. Her journey has taken her from the pitches of Stowe to the University of Exeter, where she captained the university team and developed into a formidable midfielder. In 2022, she made her senior England debut against Puerto Rico.

Her latest selection comes after a comeback from injury. Following an ACL tear and a series of hamstring issues, Liv has worked tirelessly over the past 18 months to return to peak form. Her inclusion in the England squad for this high-profile tour is a testament to her resilience, determination and passion for the game.

The tour will see the England team face top-tier opposition across the US, offering valuable experience as they prepare for the next World Championship cycle. Liv’s selection not only highlights her individual talent but also reflects the strength of the England programme and the growing profile of women’s lacrosse.
