More Success for the OSGS

2021 has been a great year for the Old Stoic Golfing Society with Stowe joint winners of the Dick Watson Trophy held at Aldeburgh last weekend following success in the Birkdale Bucket at Moortown last month. After the two Saturday Foursome Stableford rounds Stowe were top of the 15 School leaderboard so played-off against second placed Winchester in the Sunday match play format. Stowe won one match 2 up and lost one match 2 down so the Trophy was shared for the first time in the history of the event. Great play by Captain, Jeremy Scowsill, Society Captain, William Hill, Nigel Wright and Ollie Carr (on debut). There was enthusiastic support from the OSGS President, Perry Hunt and his wife, Bunty.
