Luke Brewin (Temple 02) at Newbury

On 3 March 2018, Luke Brewin (Temple 02) will be living his childhood dream and riding in a 12-man race at Newbury Racecourse.

Luke comments: “It’s a charity race day for Greatwood and I am aiming to raise £4k for them.  Greatwood is a fantastic charity that is very close to my heart.  It is the only organisation that uses ex-racehorses to educate disadvantaged children and young adults with special educational needs (SEN).

Greatwood is the only racehorse welfare charity that does not have a criteria for entry, nor turn away a horse at risk, in danger of neglect, or that is suffering.  Greatwood delivers pioneering education programmes teaching emotional literacy and life skills via interaction with rescued and rehabilitated ex-racehorses.

I will need everyone’s help in raising money and of course would love your support on the day of the race. The race day will be a full race card consisting of 6 races and the race I will be taking part in will be the last race of the day.  Every penny will be deeply appreciated, Thank you.”
