HENNERS GETS COLD

Henry Macpherson (Cobham 13) and his father and brother have just set off on their trek to the North Pole! 

They are trekking the last degree around 120km over a period of 10-14 days, with average temperatures of -25c and will be camping in tents on the ice each night. 

Henry says, "I shall be keeping a blog as I go if you're interested to see how much I’m suffering or just to keep track of my progress. I am hoping to raise a bit of money for charity while doing this challenge. My goal is to raise £3000 for the Household Cavalry Foundation

The Household Cavalry Foundation relies entirely on donations from the public, this is particularly important now that our troops have been drawn down from Afghanistan. The HCF help with the physical injuries and the long term psychological injuries, such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, that emerge long after operational tours have finished."
