After scraping through the first round against Culford with final hole wins for Haydon Brooks & Peter Hale and Charlie Rotheroe and David Johnstone The Old Stoic team has since gone from strength to strength. Harrow were beaten 2-1 on Friday afternoon with Sean Morris and Charlie Gartside getting a convincing point to back up another win for Haydon and Peter. Then onto Saturday when clear 2.5-0.5 wins have been achieved against both Eton and Clifton. Stowe now play Birkenhead in the Semi Finals at 9.30am on Sunday at Hunstanton and support from any Old Stoics who can get there would be much appreciated. This is the first time that Stowe have reached the Semi Finals of the Grafton Morrish since 1994 and Stowe have never won this competition - this could be the year.
