James Larter (Temple 12) is looking for help with funding his studies at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.  James is an extreemly talented percussionist, he graduated from the Royal Academy of Music on 12 July 2016, with a First, and took up a scholarship for his first year at the Manhattan School of Music.

He writes, "I have just finished my first year at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, and it has been the best year for so many reasons. My teachers have been instrumental in my development and improvement and since moving to New York I have been lucky enough to win awards such as the Eisenberg-Fried Concerto Competition, the James Petercsak Scholarship and a fellowship to the prestigious Music Academy of the West, this coming summer. All of this would not have happened without their expert guidance and tutelage.

The Manhattan School of Music percussion department is world-renowned for producing highly successful graduates and I really need to complete my degree here. A number of financial changes have happened for me over the course of the year and my continuation will no longer be possible if my target of $20,000 is not reached before next semester.

I would be highly grateful, humbled and appreciative of your support in the way of donations, however big or small. It will mean that I will be able to pursue my dreams and ambitions and take the next step in my exciting journey of improvement."
