A Level Exam Results 2019

Stowe is celebrating another very strong set of A level results. 68% of all grades were A*-B, a third of these were either A* or A, a record 92% of all grades awarded were A*-C and the School achieved a pass rate of 100% (another record).

Many pupils achieved very strong results which met or exceeded their predictions. 25 pupils attained at least three A grades, with two securing a full house of straight A*s with one pupil achieving 4 A*s which is a tremendous achievement. Many others did better than expected and all of these results are a testament to the dedication and hard work by pupils and teachers alike. We are incredibly proud of their achievements.

Out of 157 UCAS applications, 90% have been accepted by their 1^st or 2^nd choice universities, with Exeter, Edinburgh, Bristol, KCL, UCL as the most popular destinations.
