Mrs Shona Cannon

Shona started working at Stowe School in 2012 and joined Stanhope as a Day Matron in 2014. She moved from London to Buckingham a number of years ago with her two children and feels very settled here.

Shona has always worked with children from primary school age through to secondary school including Grenville and the Royal Latin to name but a few. She has gained much experience from her various roles in education and of course with her own children.

Her favourite past time is to catch up with the kids and grab a movie and a pizza. However to burn the calories she enjoys cycling, spinning and has been known to join the Stanhope girls for aerobics!
Shona feels very privileged to have taken part in many charitable events including completing a 50 mile bicycle ride last year and travelling to the Great Wall of China.

The girls at Stanhope know that they can always pop in to matron if they need anything as she is always warm and welcoming.
