Life before Stowe

Before coming to Stowe I was Deputy Head (Sixth) at Berkhamsted School, and before that I was Head of History at Marlborough College (and before that I taught History at St Edward’s, Oxford).

What do you enjoy most about your subject?

I love the colour and drama of History and Medieval History in particular.

What do you enjoy most about Stowe?

The amazing surroundings and the friendliness of the staff and Stoics.

What is your favourite Lesson?

I am really excited to be teaching Vanguard this year and helping to design the programme.

What do others say about you?

I’m passionate about what I do.

Other hats

I don’t have many other hats, but I do some rugby refereeing on the weekends and also work with the Academic Scholars’ Groups.
