The Marble Saloon​

The Marble Saloon is a spectacular elliptical hall, inspired by the Pantheon in Rome. The Saloon doors can remain open throughout your day, offering a view of the stunning Octagon Lake and Corinthian Arch as the backdrop to your ceremony.

The Music Room​

The Music Room, which was exquisitely decorated by Vincenzo Valdrè, is truly one of the jewels of Stowe’s interiors. The room is lavishly decorated in 23 ½ carat gold leaf, with hand-painted walls. Like all of our State Rooms, it offers wonderful views of the South Front vista.

The State Dining Room

The State Dining Room is a splendid rectangular room with an elaborately decorated ceiling designed by Francesco Sleter. The three octagonal paintings, from the 1820s, all feature Venus. The magnificent windows look over breathtaking views of the South Front, Corinthian Arch and Octagon Lake and fill the room with natural light whatever time of the year.

The Temple Room

The majestic Temple Room is the perfect setting for your evening reception. Surrounded by its monumental portraits of the Dukes of Buckingham and Chandos, which provide the perfect backdrop for your important day. 

The light reflecting off it's guilded ceiling the Temple Room acts as the perfect room for dancing the night away.

South Front Portico

Gather all your friends and family on the steps leading down from the South Front Portico for a fantastic photo opportunity with the House behind you all. Once in the grounds you and your guests can play garden games, relax and enjoy the view or make use of the stunning backdrops within the National Trust grounds for photos.

The South Front Portico is licensed for ceremonies, meaning that you can get married looking out over the beautiful National Trust Gardens.(Maximum 80)

The Blue Drawing Room

The Blue Drawing Room is a beautiful parlour room, perfect for smaller Wedding Ceremonies. Newly restored, this more intimate space has a ceiling themed with bacchic celebration and is named after the Blue Silk damask which lines its walls.

This Blue Drawing room is available to hire as an additional room on your wedding day.
