Out and about in Buckingham

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and here at Stowe House, we are making the most of it! We are having lots of fun joining in with all of the lovely Christmas events in our area.
You may have seen us recently at the Buckingham Town Christmas lights switch-on as well as Bourton Meadow Academy’s Christmas Fair. We had lots of activities for everyone to enjoy and you may have even discovered a new story from Stowe or learnt more about how Christmas was celebrated 300 years ago.
If you missed us, you have missed the last chance to join our 18th-century Christmas traditions smell challenge for 2015! But the good news is that there’s still time to make Festive Fruity decorations and to join our ‘Let it Snow’ winter wonderland here at the House. If you’ve already taken part, be sure to call in on us and see your lovely decorations here at the House. And enjoy the twinkling Christmas lights in Buckingham too!
