Opening speeches about the global picture of climate change today by John Sauven (Executive Director of Greenpeace UK) and Joycelyn Longdon (Founder, Climate in Colour).

Students will hear Neil Agius talk about his cross mediterrean swim to raise awareness of ocean plastics. We are delighted that during the day we will also be showing a film about his challenge on screens around the event.

12:30PM CREATING A ZERO-WASTE LUNCH WITH MAX LA MANNA, MAIN TENT

Interactive food waste activity run by celebrity chef, Max La Manna. Attendees will work along Max, a Zero waste chef and host on BBC Earth food shows, students will make their own lunch.

Stowe’s Head, Dr Anthony Wallersteiner will interview TV presenter Michaela Strachan about her career and her thoughts about the impact of the climate crisis on the natural world.

Attendance at the evening events is optional - all attendees are welcome to stay to enjoy the concert.

5:30PM CLIMATE ACTION CONCERT, NORTH FRONT

Food trucks will be available for attendees to purchase dinner (Carbon Net Zero companies, sustainably sourced food that's vegetarian or vegan), and the audience will enjoy live music to mark the end of the event.
