Speech Day & OS Classic Car Show 2022

28 May 2022

We are very much looking forward to welcoming all to Stowe for 2022 Speech Day, our first at School since 2019.

There is a full packed programme of events taking place througout the day, which can been downloaded here.

Guest of Honour

Former Captain of England Rugby and Stowe Sports Mentor Dylan Hartley was the Captain of Northampton Saints during its most successful period, the pinnacle of which was winning the club’s first Premiership title. Dylan went on to captain England through a world record run of eighteen test victories and two winning Six Nations’ campaigns (including a grand slam). After an international playing career spanning over a decade in which Dylan became England’s most capped hooker and the second most capped England player of all time, Dylan retired from professional rugby in 2019.

In 2021, Dylan joined Stowe School as a Sports Mentor and coach. We congratulate Dylan on his recent appointment as Director of Rugby at Dubai Sharks RFC and are delighted that he has promised to maintain his link with Stowe.
