The Roxburgh Society

Membership of the Roxburgh Society is open to all those who have left a legacy to Stowe, or intend to do so. At present the number of bequests to Stowe is still relatively small, but we are pleased with the recent growth in the size of the Society, with now over 80 members. The purpose of the Society is to foster a steady increase in legacies over the years ahead and to provide an opportunity for the School to recognise the generosity of the members and thank them for their contribution.

Society members will be invited to attend an annual lunch at the School at which they may enjoy the conviviality of being with like-minded people and to see for themselves the developments in both the School and the House. Members will also have a lifetime subscription to The Stoic and receive information about Stowe events, held at the School or elsewhere, to which members could come if they wish.

If you intend to leave a legacy to Stowe or indeed have already done so, you are eligible for membership of the Roxburgh Society. All you need to do is either download and return the membership form, or contact the Roxburgh Society manager, Sue Rodwell, who will be delighted to write to you with further information.
