The Stowe Parents' Association is delighted to invite you to join the Headmaster on a tour of Stowe's Landscape Gardens on Saturday 26 May.
It will be a big day at Stowe with cricket at home against Oundle from 2.00pm (U14 and U15), tennis against Rugby (all boys' teams at home), the Beagle Puppy Show on the South Front from 3.00pm, an Old Stoic reunion (40 years on) in the Mansion from 3.00pm and a special weekend of activities with the National Trust involving the Sealed Knot. I hope these add to the attraction and enjoyment of the occasion. Further details and reply information for the tour and lunch can be found attached.
We are delighted the Headmaster has chosen this occasion to promote the Stowe Parents' Association who will be hosting this event. As many of you are aware we have been re-evaluating the role and nature of an organisation for Stowe parents which across this academic year has been referred to as The Stowe Parents' Network or SPN. The conclusion to this process has been to express continuity by building on some of the excellent events SPA has held in the past with a view to creating an exciting calendar of events which will continue to encourage Stowe parents to meet and enjoy each other's company in a range of different environments. We have established a new management team which includes a wonderful balance of both newer parents and those who have been with Stowe for a little while. We look forward to announcing the Michaelmas programme before the end of the Summer term.

Journey Breakers
A difficult journey, through heavy traffic and British weather, with a quick turnaround and a repeat performance on the way home? If that sounds like your experience of collecting your son or daughter each exeat, half term and term end, allow us to introduce you to the SPA Journey Breaker. Held in the Marble Saloon, SPA Journey Breakers allow parents time to relax and refresh while awaiting their Stoic. It’s a great opportunity to meet other parents and can already claim car-sharing success among parents doing similar journeys.
